Vino Tinto WordPress Theme
Vinto Tinto is a WordPress theme based on K2 and it’s almost a K2 style. I had to edit header.php and footer.php to add the extra divs for some graphics. Everything else is original K2.
The tree & table is a PNG overlay. This way you can still use the Custom Image Header from the K2 options and upload your own header image. There are 4 different versions of the header overlay; One, Two, Three, Four. (just replace header.png & header.gif with your favourite)
There are currently two downloads available.
vino-tinto-k2style-096.zip (370kb)
Contains only the Vino Tinto style directory and header.php & footer.php for K2 0.9.6 (use ‘em as an example, and add the “xtra” divs if you use an older or newer version of K2)
vino-tinto-k2-096.zip (710kb)
Contains the Vino Tinto style directory and K2 (0.9.6). Just upload everything into your themes directory, go to the K2 options page and activate the Vinto Tinto style.

Jun 9th, 2007It reflects my present mood but Im asking if this is also SEO theme? I am using Glued Ideas -subtle but seems every rss there were destroyed since i upgraded to WP 2.2, is this also good for wp 2.2? thank you…. im now ready to use this theme, it’s very nice….

Sep 9th, 2007Great theme, thanks! Had a few problems working with k2 0.9.6 and the sidebar not working well – it was painting under all content rather than on the side.
Killing these lines from the vino-tinto stylesheet did the trick:
