An Ubersuper Month

An Ubersuper Month

Wow, what a great first month!

Many thanks to:

  • all the CSS galleries who featured ubersuper (webcreme. CSS mania, srceenfluent, etc…)
  • everyone who bookmarked ubersuper on del.icio.us
  • the 39 visitor who dropped a line and liked the design, as well the 2 visitors who dropped a line and didn’t like it.
  • the submitters and their beautiful submissions
  • all the other websites who send me some visitors (dubtastic, kineda, etc …

That’s a much better start than i can imagine. And i thought a nice way to say thanks is a little goody. I released a Free Photoshop Brush-Set for non-commercial use. It contains 6 old, worn, folded paper brushes, each ~800 x 1100 pixel.

I hope you like it, and if so, go tell your friends, spread the word, write about it on your blog and last but not least, create something. :)

  3. hey mr. stack
i remember your last comment, i think it was on a blogmarks posting. Glad to hear you’re still reading. Hope you find some inspiration too, although there is not much street stuff on ubersuper yet, i think inspiration can be found anywhere.

    @Terry: thanks!

  4. :D i don’t like just streetstuff there’s a lot of good things that can inspirate me :) and blogmarks help me to found it ;) and you too..

    Peace

  5. Sometimes I, as a German, ask myself if THEY really now what “uber” means ( and I don’t give a damn that uber is written the wrong way, but ok). I’ve heard that using “uber” is one of those new, funny behaviours in the English language … is it?

So far, a very nice design, it will inspirate me at my own work I’m doing this days. Nice greets from good old Deutschland, bye!

  6. Hi Jens,

Yes I think “uber” is one of those new words that is used by english speaking peoples too.

The reason for not using “ü” is simple, i don’t like umlaut domains and most people don’t have a “ü” key on their keyboard.

I’m glad your visit inspired you.

Kind Regards from Switzerland, yeah, just around the corner.

P.S.: Ja ich weiss was “über” heisst ;)

  7. so few visitors from China~ but i am one of them, i love your site!
